Remember the first time you applied for a job? Maybe you didn’t get hired because you lacked experience. But you can’t get experience if you don’t get hired.
The same paradox is true for vendors and suppliers. Without experience, there’s little chance to work with big companies.
Stimulus believes that the future belongs to business leaders who partner with vendors and suppliers that offer diversity in background, thoughts, leadership, customers, and more, which would uplift economies and change lives. We’re proud that Stimulus helps build those relationships — and in the process makes the business world a little more equitable.
We’re excited and honored to share today that Stimulus is being featured in Microsoft’s #BuildFor2030 campaign. Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, #BuildFor2030 showcases solutions aligned with impact, including gender equality, technology for an inclusive economy, fair work, and economic growth for all.
We’re proud to say we fit that criteria. The Stimulus Relationship Intelligence platform uses data and analytics to help companies (of all sizes and across industries) make better purchasing decisions; enabling users to find the right supplier at the right time. Our data-driven platform removes bias in the vendor selection process and identifies business opportunities in and out of typical corporate networks.
We’ve worked with Microsoft for years in many ways, most recently we participated in the Women in Cloud Microsoft Accelerator, SaaS Launch Lab presented by Project W and M12 — Microsoft’s Venture Fund, spoke at Microsoft Inspire — and Stimulus is listed on the Azure Marketplace and Microsoft AppSource. Opportunities like #BuildFor2030 showcases the power and importance of building great partnerships.
Only 1% of female tech entrepreneurs are awarded corporate contracts. Corporations pay tech vendors billions every year and just 1% goes to women? That’s completely unacceptable. As more people use the Stimulus platform, those numbers will rise significantly. When women finally have access to the same opportunities as their male counterparts, everybody wins.
Simply put: the right data removes bias. We stand for a more inclusive business world with diversified supply chains. If we can achieve that lofty goal, the economic impact for underrepresented communities will be significant.
We’re proud to support Microsoft to #Build2030 and play our part in making a change. Our team, partners, investors, and customers get that we’re building something really special here.
